Description
Item: Antique Northwood PitcherFor your consideration is a
Northwood's "Pagoda" line "Chrysanthemum Sprig" Pitcher, which was introduced c. 1900 in Ivory (Custard) which fluoresces brightly under U.V. /black light. The floral panels and scrolled borders shows crisp detail. The hand painting is in very good condition with some pictured wear to the gold. The piece measures 8 ½" high, 8" from spout to handle and 6" deep. The base bears the pictured "Northwood" embossed script signature. The pitcher's condition is very good with no chips or cracks. There a number of typical superficial straw marks/annealing lines.
