insurance. We have enjoyed shipping our items all over the world and are happy to offer most of our items to international buyers. Yet insuring International parcels is very expensive so PLEASE NOTE; we do
    NOT
insure International orders unless winning buyer specifically requests this and we are able to provide an insurance quote. We do not falsify information on the Customs Form, such as a price other than what the actual purchase price is, so please do not request us to do so. We ship several times a week and send payment acknowledgments and shipping confirmations. Your prompt payment will assure a very quick turn-around time.
    IMPORTANT NOTE:
If our shipping charge is much more than the actual shipping cost, we will refund the excess so what
    YOU
pay for shipping/insurance is very close to, if not exactly, the
    ACTUAL
shipping costs! This is especially important for foreign buyers to know as most of our foreign shipping charges are rough estimates.
This old custard cup is from the very historical old town of Dodge, Dodge City, Kansas. At the time this cup was in circulation, Dodge City was just settling down into an average American town after a very colorful and tumultuous beginning.  Originally Dodge was in the very heart of the buffalo country. Hardly had the railroad reached there when business began and dozens of RR cars a day were loaded with hides and meat to take to market and in return, dozens of carloads of provisions arrived each day.  Thus the streets of Dodge were lined with wagons, bringing in hides and meat to ship on the rail road, and getting supplies from the rail road, from early morning to late at night.  H.L. Sitler, the first settler of what became Dodge City, said; "If you stood on the hill above Dodge City, there was traffic as far as you could see, 24-hours a day, seven days a week."   Dodge City continued to be the buffalo capital of America until mass slaughter destroyed the huge herds and by the late 1870's the buffalo were gone as a source of revenue, but then huge herds of longhorn cattle were bring driven from Texas to the RR head at Dodge. For ten more years, over five million head of cattle were driven up the western branch of the Chisholm Trail - the Great Western Trail or Texas Trail - to Dodge City. Law and order came riding into town with well known names as W. B. 'Bat' Masterson, Wyatt Earp, Bill Thighman, and Charlie Bassett. It was out of these personalities that the famous fictional character of Gunsmokes' Marshal Matt Dillon evolved. Fort Dodge, Kansas was closed in 1882 and due to a January 1886 blizzard, the cattle drives ended. An illustrious period of history was over, but the legend of Dodge City strongly lives on thanks to Hollywood. Anyway, in short, here is a historical memento from that historically important town,
