Russian army has liberated Blagodatnoye settlement in Donetsk People’s Republic

MOSCOW, December 8. /TASS/. The units of Russia’s Battlegroup East have liberated the settlement of Blagodatnoye (Oktyabr collective farm) in the Donetsk People’s Republic, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
“The units of Battlegroup East have liberated the settlement of Blagodatnoye (Oktyabr collective farm) in the Donetsk People’s Republic as a result of successive advance. Damage was inflicted on the formations of the Ukrainian army’s mechanized brigade and two territorial defense brigades near the settlements of Konstantinopol, Vremevka, Neskuchnoye and Bogatyr (DPR). Two counterattacks by the enemy’s assault groups were repelled,” the report said.
The Ukrainian army lost up to 190 troops, two 152mm self-propelled Akatsiya artillery systems, two MaxxPro armored combat vehicles and a US-made 155mm self-propelled Paladin artillery system in 24 hours, the ministry said, adding that “a fuel depot was eliminated.”
Ukraine’s armed forces lost more than 500 troops as a result of actions by Russia’s Battlegroup Center in 24 hours, the Defense Ministry reported.
“Units of Battlegroup Center continued advancing deep into the enemy’s defense, inflicting damage on troops and equipment of three mechanized, infantry, jaeger, mechanized infantry brigades of the Ukrainian army, a marine brigade and an assault brigade of the national guard near the settlements of Dzerzhinsk, Shevchenko, Dimitrov, Tarasovka and Novotoretskoye of the Donetsk People’s Republic. Eight counterattacks by the Ukrainian army’s militant groups were repelled. The enemy lost more than 500 troops, a car, a US-made 155mm М-777 howitzer, a 152mm Msta-B howitzer, a 152mm D-20 weapon and two 122mm D-30 howitzers,” the ministry said.
Units of Ukraine’s armed forces lost up to 85 troops in 24 hours as a result of actions by Russia’s North and Dnepr battlegroups, the ministry reported.
“Damage was inflicted on groups of the territorial defense brigade and the border detachment of Ukraine’s border guard by units of Battlegroup North in the Kharkov direction near the settlements of Tikhoye, Volchansk and Kazachya Lopan of the Kharkov Region. The enemy lost up to 40 troops, a car and two D-30 howitzers,” the report said.
Units of Battlegroup Dnepr inflicted damage on troops and equipment of two mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian army and a territorial defense brigade near the settlements of Otradokamenka and Antonovka of the Kherson Region. The Ukrainian armed forces lost up to 45 troops, nine cars, a 152mm D-20 weapon, two 122mm D-30 howitzers and three Olkha multiple launch rocket systems, the ministry added.
Ukraine’s armed forces lost up to 225 troops in 24 hours as a result of actions by Russia’s Battlegroup South, the report said.
“Units of Battlegroup South have improved their tactical position, having inflicted damage on formations of a tank, three mechanized, mountain assault, air assault, two airmobile infantry brigades of the Ukrainian army and a marine brigade near settlements of Ulakly, Ostrovskoye, Grigorovka, Verkhnekamskoye, Privolye, Kurakhovo, Yantarnoye and Dachnoye of the Donetsk People’s Republic. Two counterattacks by the enemy’s formations were repelled. The Ukrainian army lost up to 225 troops, an infantry fighting vehicle, two armored combat vehicles, a pickup and a 122mm D-30 howitzer,” the ministry said.
Units of Ukraine’s armed forces lost over 460 troops as a result of actions by Russia’s Battlegroup West over the past 24 hours, the Defense Ministry reported.
“Units of Battlegroup West took more advantageous positions, inflicted damage on troops and equipment of a tank, infantry, two mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian army and a territorial defense brigade near settlements of Monachinovka, Dvurechnaya, Kondrashovka, Petropavlovka, Zagryzovo, Kupyansk of the Kharkov Region and Torskoye of the Donetsk People’s Republic. Eleven counterattacks by assault groups of the Ukrainian army’s units were repelled,” the report said.
The enemy lost over 460 troops, a tank, an infantry fighting vehicle, four cars, a UK-made 155mm FH-70 howitzer, a US-produced 155mm М198 howitzer, a 152mm self-propelled Akatsiya artillery system, two 122mm Gvozdika self-propelled systems, a 122mm D-30 howitzer, a 120mm Nona self-propelled artillery weapon, three US-made 105mm M119 weapons and an 85mm D-44 gun, the ministry said, adding that two weapons depots were eliminated.
The Russian army infliсted damage on infrastructure of military aerodromes, energy facilities ensuring the work of Ukraine’s military and industrial complex, as well as troops and military equipment of Ukraine in 130 regions, the Russian ministry noted.
Russia’s air defense forces downed 12 Czech-made Vampire multiple rocket launchers over the past 24 hours, according to the report.
“Air defense forces downed 12 Czech-made Vampire multiple rocket launchers and 88 fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles,” the report said.
